The Bible, Ministry and Theology department seeks to shape men and women for ministry in a variety of forms and contexts, through deep engagement with the Scriptures and reflection on how the central doctrines of the Christian faith shape the way we live and serve God. The faculty share a common desire for all that we do to glorify God in Christ, forming God's people to be part of his mission in the world.
The Graduate awards in Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care provides education and training in the advanced skills of spiritual care. Graduates of these awards will have advanced knowledge and practical skills in the key components of spiritual care across the lifespan with depth in chosen areas of specialisation. Graduates will be able to apply this knowledge in professional chaplaincy or pastoral care leadership roles in the context of social, institutional, organisational, and community groups.
Professional counsellors have a profound influence on the lives of their clients in helping them to understand and interpret their life and circumstances. Studying counselling at Morling College will prepare you to respond authentically to your client's needs and problems within a clear biblical and theological framework.
The degrees offered by the Faculty of Education are all taught from a Christian perspective. They encourage teachers and educational leaders to think deeply about how their work as educators integrates with a Christian worldview. They provide opportunities to learn from great thinkers and practitioners about the intersection of education and Christian beliefs, and to consider how this relates to the daily life of teachers and school leaders.
At Morling College, we believe in making biblical and theological training available to everyone. As part of our ministry we offer courses designed to reach a variety of people. Our Free Greek Online courseis provided to make learning accessible for individuals who are not able to join us for higher education.
The IMPACT Gap Year program is a 1 year program intentionally focused on the formation of young adults in the areas of growing faith, personal development, engagement in community, and opportunity in ministry. The program is run by BYM (Baptist Youth Ministries, NSW & ACT), in partnership with Morling College. It includes an option to study the Australian College of Theology's Undergraduate Certificate of Theology or Diploma of Christian Studies at Morling College.

Professional Supervision is an important and expanding field of practice. The provision of high-quality supervision services within both clinical and pastoral contexts is central to the health and wellbeing of those that minister to and support others and to those who are being ministered to.
Students can enrol to study selected single units from the Bible & Theology, Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care, Counselling and Education programs. The Single Unit itself is not an AQF award.
