Students can study a single unit from any of the Australian College of Theology (ACT) courses offered by Morling’s Bible and Theology faculty. The Single Unit itself is not an AQF award, does not form part of an award course at another higher education provider.
This is stand alone Certificate is designed for students who do not intend to complete an academic award and want to enrol only in individual units. Single unit study is recognised for credit transfer into an ACT qualification (undergraduate or post-graduate) at a later date, subject to the normal ACT regulations regarding credit transfers, and only if they enrol in the higher degree within 10 years.
Students undertaking single unit study are ineligible for FEE-HELP funding and must pay their tuition fees upfront. Fees are set as per our tuition fee schedule at the domestic/overseas per-unit rate.
You will need to be able to meet the ACT and Morling College entry requirements for the course to which the unit belongs, and any listed pre- or co-requisites that apply to the particular unit. Refer to the ACT Coursework Course Enrolment Policy accessible here for rules for admission to single unit study.
For more information or if you wish to study a Single Unit, then please contact the Future Students team at [email protected].
