This is a Mental Health First Aid Australia event in partnership with Morling College

Mental Health First Aid is a course dedicated to teaching how to provide help to those experiencing a mental health problem. The goal is to be able to identify mental health problems, gain a deeper understanding of mental health as a whole and be able to effectively respond to a mental health crisis.

The 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course teaches adults (18 years and over) how to provide initial support to adults who are developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis.

Additional Information

This training is delivered by Mental Health First Aid Australia in partnership with Morling College - Sydney Campus. The training is offered face to face in an interactive, state of the art learning environment. Lunch, morning and afternoon tea are provided.

The cost of the course includes the Standard Mental Health First Aid Manual (4th Edition). Upon completion of the course requirements, participants will gain a Mental Health First Aid Certificate of Accreditation.

About the Presenter

Andrea is a skilled and entertaining communicator who is experience in engaging people from different walks of life, in a variety of settings.

She is a highly regarded, registered clinical counsellor who works in private practice. In addition, Andrea is a lecturer in a Master of Counselling program. One of her academic subject areas of expertise is Mental Health Management. This solid foundation, in conjunction with the Mental Health First Aid program ensures participants receive the best learning experience.
