This unit gives an overview of the New Testament Gospel of Mark.

The Gospel of Mark is a historical narrative. It provides us with a representative picture of the person and work of Jesus Christ. It is brief, pictorial, curt, clear-cut and forceful. Christ’s works are the chief source of interest, and his death and resurrection in Jerusalem bring the story to a challenging climax.
