DE011 - Youth in the Churches

Connecting with youth and understanding their culture is certainly a challenge these days. Reaching youth for Christ can seem, almost, impossible. This unit will enable you to understand the context of youth connected with churches in Australia today so as to be effective in developing your own church's youth ministry. Learning from lecturers who are currently serving in youth ministry will equip you with the skills and knowledge that you need for today.   

Unit Pre/co-requisites:

DE011-712 co-requisite: 96cps of study, including 36 cps at AQF level 6

Unit Exclusions: 

Prior to 2020, this unit content was delivered under the unit code DM211/DM411/DM611 or DM011.
