NT012 / NT013 - Hebrews (English / Greek)

This unit provides an introduction to the epistle from an unnamed author “to the Hebrews.”

The argument of the text is complex; it uniquely underscores that Jesus is the heavenly high priest in the order of Melchizedek who has inaugurated a new covenant and exhorts the readers to endure in their faith in, or faithfulness to, Jesus. Students will learn about the introductory issues about this book and will carry out an exegetical analysis of its thirteen chapters.
