The objective of supervised theological field education is readiness for effective ministry through reflective ministry practice i.e. an "action-reflection" model. The field education program attempts to meet this objective by providing opportunity for learning through experience in a ministry setting under appropriate supervision. Field education creates the prospect of putting into practice within a ministry setting, the knowledge, skills and attitudes developed from the classroom in a more designed manner. This unit is also an important element for people pursuing accreditation studies.
